Man United Players Confused by Rangnick’s Method

DBasia.news – Manchester United players reportedly do not like interim coach Ralf Rangnick’s training methods.

Since the turn of the year, Manchester United have only won two of their five Premier League games for 2021-2022. The Red Devils were also eliminated from the FA Cup after being beaten by Middlesbrough.

Manchester United’s overall performance is quite disappointing. Cristiano Ronaldo and his friends lacked momentum in attack and had a fragile defense.

Unpleasant rumors also emerged regarding the frustration experienced by the Manchester United squad. According to ESPN’s report, the players are starting to become dissatisfied with Rangnick’s training methods.

Rangnick is known as the pioneer of the gegenpressing tactics that made Liverpool victorious under Jurgen Klopp. He wants to apply a similar style of play at Manchester United.

Rangnick started his career with a 4-2-2-2 formation. Having succeeded in the first two matches, he then returned to using the 4-2-3-1 scheme left by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But formations or tactics do not seem to be the main cause of the decline in Rangnick’s team’s performance. The problem occurred in the training session.

According to the same report, several Manchester United players have complained about the way Rangnick has prepared for the game. One of them is playing 11 versus 11 situation games too often.

With this pattern, Rangnick seemed to want to maintain the form and organization of Manchester United’s game. But the players felt this disrupted their rhythm in the midst of a busy schedule.

In addition, Rangnick reportedly handed over most of the training sessions to Chris Armas as assistant coach. But the United States man seems to have received less respect from the players.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also complained about training methods. This problem eventually got bigger and made the person concerned was kicked out after swallowing a series of bad results.

Rangnick had to solve this problem immediately. Manchester United must quickly get back on track to secure the top four and speak volumes in the Champions League.
