Manchester City Don’t Have Sign of Weakness

DBasia.news – The Premier League title race this year is for Manchester City and Liverpool. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp considers The Citizens as the favorite candidate to win this season.

Jurgen Klopp has found the right formulation for Liverpool. With the additional players like Alisson, Fabinho, and Xherdan Shaqiri, The Reds become the only unbeaten team in the Premier League.

The result makes Liverpool stay as the leader in the table with one point higher than Manchester City. However, Klopp still thinks City as the best team in the Premier League.

“I have to respect that City are really, really, really good,” the manager said. “I can’t say that City are lucky here and lucky there. They aren’t,” Klopp said cited by Soccerway.

“Every match day they are spot on. They were last year when they got 100 points and they stay in that mode,” the manager continued.

“I have to say it, there’s no sign of weakness. In the first 15 minutes against Everton maybe, but that was 12.30pm after a Champions League game so it was an extended warm-up and there were balls flying around and missed passes. But after that, they took charge of the game and won it comfortably.”

Klopp thinks Liverpool as the challenge in the title race. Hence, The Reds must focus on every match.

“We are all judged on that because they are the champions, they can do it, so it should be possible for us as well,” Klopp said.

Liverpool would meet Manchester City on Friday, January 4th, 2019. In that match, Etihad Stadium would be the venue.
