DBasia.news – Marcus Rashford quipped Jose Mourinho after Manchester United’s 1-0 victory over Astana in the Europa League group L’s first match at Old Trafford.
Manchester United only narrowly won 1-0 when entertaining Astana. In fact, the Red Devils players created 20 chances throughout the match.
The only goal scored by the host was by Mason Greenwood in the 73rd minute. The results put Man United at the top of the standings.
Marcus Rashford who appeared in the match did not dismiss if Astana played very well. Rashford thought that Astana’s defense was difficult to dismantle.
Rashford predicts that Manchester United will not be able to win full points if they appear like two years ago. At that time, the Red Devils were being led by Jose Mourinho.
“They are a team that is hard to beat. However, I think it makes me judge that if we return two seasons ago, we will not be able to beat them,” Rashford said as reported by the Manchester Evening News.
Marcus Rashford asserted, assessing Astana’s easy-to-beat team was a mistake. According to Rashford, each team always tries to win.
“Because all teams predict that the match will be easy. However, the opponent comes to win. Therefore, the match is always difficult,” continued the player.
Next, Manchester United will travel to West Ham United headquarters in the fifth week of the Premier League match 2019-2020, at London Stadium on Sunday (9/22). Unfortunately, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial are still doubtful.
