Manchester United has not made a new offer for Pogba
By db-admin
DBasia.news – The tangled thread surrounding Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United has yet to come to an end. The latest news states that in fact Manchester United have not offered a new contract for the midfielder.
Paul Pogba is often linked with leaving Manchester United every time the transfer window opens. This is understandable as Mino Raiola as Pogba’s agent often mentions in the media regarding his client’s desire to leave.
Since Jose Mourinho’s, there are several reasons that made Pogba want to leave Man United. Starting from bad relationships with managers, low salary, to the desire to feel new challenges.
Manchester United’s current position is to try to tie Pogba longer. Man United do not want to lose the player who was purchaed for €86 million for the second time. Moreover, Pogba has the opportunity to leave Man United on a free transfer as his contract will expire in June 2022.
Man United’s efforts, of course, are to offer a new contract for Pogba. Reportedly, the Red Devils are willing to pay Pogba £400,000 per week. Pogba can also receive another £100,000 as a bonus.
However, based on the Daily Mail report which received a statement from Pogba’s spokesman, Manchester United reportedly have not made any offer.
“To clarify reports in the media, Pogba has not received a new contract in the last few months. Pogba is focused on recovering from an injury and wants to immediately help the team,” explained the source.
According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Real Madrid are the three clubs interested in Paul Pogba. The value of the salary and the duration of the contract can be a weapon to entice the 2018 World Cup winner.
