Manchester United officially issues third jersey

DBasia.news – Manchester United has officially released its third jersey for the 2022-2023 season. Their new jersey became the center of attention as it is bright green.

Manchester United have previously launched a home and away kits for this season. The choice of colors for the two jerseys is not too surprising.

But the big breakthrough seemed to be shown through the third jersey. The Manchester United players are sure to stand out when wearing this jersey due to the bright green color selection.

In the past, Manchester United have used green for their match uniforms. But combined with the yellow color that is synonymous with this club when it was still called Newton Heath.

This jersey features a crewneck collar inspired by the mid-1990s Zeitgeist fashion culture. Striking geometric patterns also dominate the design of this jersey.

“A blended and recoded convergence of cultural icons, the 2022-2023 third kit takes inspiration from Manchester United’s iconic graphic identity, using geometric shapes and patterns,” said Adidas design director, Inigo Turner.

“We’ve combined this with a new interpretation of the classic club colors for a fresh and exciting jersey.”

This new jersey was immediately used in the second week of the 2022-2023 Premier League when Manchester United traveled to Brentford headquarters.
