DBasia.news – Manchester United managed to overcome AC Milan in the second leg of the 2020-2021 Europa League last 16 despite playing at the San Siro, Friday (19/3/2021). After the match, Man United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised two of his players.

Manchester United beat AC Milan 1-0 in the second leg of the last 16 of the Europa League, at the San Siro Stadium, Friday (19/3). Paul Pogba’s goal in the 48th minute made the difference. With these results, the Red Devils escaped because they were 2-1 ahead on aggregate.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels a number of his players are performing well. Apart from Paul Pogba, Dean Henderson, Scott McTominay, and Fred got blue report cards.

“I am very happy, of course. We had a very difficult match against a fantastic club, a good team, and we overcame some difficulties,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told BT Sport.

“You get a chance to win a football game and you keep a clean sheet. Dean Henderson made a fantastic save towards the end and I’m very happy with everyone’s defense. We know people like Scott McTominay and Fred always give their all.”

“There are a lot of good teams left. It’s a cup competition and anything can happen. However, we qualified and felt confident,” said Solskjaer.
