Manchester United Ready to Buy Diego Godin’s Contract Clause

By news-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United reported by Daily Mail are interested to get Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin. As planned, The Red Devils will activate his release clause.

Manchester United are in a rush before the end of Premier League transfer market. Until now, Man United just got 3 players including Fred.

The situation made Jose Mourinho upset. Many times, the Portuguese manager said his disappointment to the Man United high-officials.

Responding to Mourinho’s critic, the deputy of Man United owner Ed Woodward and the leader of team development Matt Judge, met Mourinho at the training center, Carrington, to talk about the transfer.

The idea to get Godin appeared considering the weak backfield with no player equals to Eric Baily. His tandem, Phil Jones is still uncertain.

Besides, Godin also has many experiences. Since past seasons, the player believed as the Uruguay national team and Los Rojiblancos captain.

Manchester United could get Godin by buying the release clause worth £17,5M. But there’s no news yet about the salary.

Besides Godin, previously Man United also aimed the other defenders like Jerome Boateng, Toby Alderweireld, and Harry Maguire. But, the clubs of these players won’t give the permission until now.
