Manchester United Turns from Sancho to Haaland
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United have reportedly turned their focus away from Borussia Dortmund winger, Jadon Sancho. Instead, The Red Devils are currently trying to bring in Erling Haaland.
Previously, Manchester United tried to sign Jadon Sancho in the last few transfer markets. Sancho is thought to fit perfectly into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s scheme.
However, Borussia Dortmund did not give the green light easily. Dortmund sold the former Manchester City player for 110 million pounds.
With this value, Manchester United slowly withdrew. The Red Devils has no funds as the expense will be huge plus the value of the contract.
Manchester United’s interest faded after Sancho’s appearance declined. The player has not scored in the last 11 Bundesliga matches. In fact, previously he packed 17 goals in 32 matches.
Instead, Manchester United is monitoring Erling Haaland. The Red Devils were blown away by Haaland’s sharp appearance, who scored 23 goals in 23 games in the Bundesliga.
However, according to the Mirror, Man United’s efforts to bring Erling Haaland were not without obstacles. The reason was, Man United had to deal with Mino Raiola, who served as Haaland’s agent.
It is known that Manchester United’s relationship with Raiola is not harmonious. As it is heating up with the case of Paul Pogba who is rumored to be leaving.
One of Manchester United’s aces to sign Erling Haaland is the presence of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the managerial position. Solskjaer was Haaland’s coach while still at Molde.
