Manchester United will be even better next season

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Dark clouds still surround Manchester United at the end of the 2021-2022 season. But the cloud has slowly disappeared with the potential for a bright future for the club nicknamed the Red Devils.

Major changes will occur in the summer of 2022. Erik ten Hag will arrive as new manager with a contract until 2025, plus an option to extend a year, Ralf Rangnick became a consultant, and the club is looking to sign Europe’s leading Director of Football, Paul Mitchell.

In short, the Man United squad will be refreshed with an overhaul in the summer. There will be players leaving and United will sign new names. No doubt Rangnick believes United will perform better next season.

“I firmly believe that there are a lot of things that can get better and will get better with the new manager and hopefully with some new players, with fresh energy in the squad,” Rangnick said.

“With this new group of players and the quality of the players who are already here, together with the new manager, I am very confident that next season will be much better.”

“I’m looking forward to working in that advisory role and obviously helping Eric as much as he wants himself.”

“Obviously, I’m more than willing and ready to help Erik and anyone else at the club to change things for the better.”

Better coordination is also believed by Rangnick to occur with Ten Hag at United, especially from prospective new players who want to be recruited.

“In my last two clubs we have never signed a player without the manager’s approval and I’m pretty sure this will happen with Erik,” Rangnick added.

“I’m also sure that Erik will give some advice, then together with the board, together with the scouting department and maybe myself, hopefully we will decide (sign) the right player.”
