DBasia.news – Manchester United has won the FA Cup. But not the first team, however the MU youth team after overthrowing Nottingham Forest 3-1 in the final.

Thus, the Red Devils became the most successful team in history in the FA Youth Cup with a collection of 11 trophies.

Old Trafford broke the record when 67,000 fans came to witness a fantastic win against Notthingham in this final. The achievements of the young Red Devils seem to be a breath of fresh air in the midst of the dilapidated season of Man United at the senior level.

Man United’s academy and reputation as one of the best clubs in the world in player development has been highlighted in recent years. Some fans call the young Man United team the ‘Class of ’22’.

Moving up to the U-23 level would be an attractive option for the players in this FA Youth Cup winning squad, but it would be even more ideal if they were sent on loan to experience a professional level.

“It’s brilliant,” said Jesse Lingard for the success of his juniors.

“With the team this club has, I’m sure, they have confidence in the way they got to the final and achieved success.”

“We know how difficult it is when we play in the FA Youth Cup. We faced a number of challenging games, but we stick together and play the Man United way,” said Lingard, who was part of the 2011 FA Youth Cup winning squad.

“They made it happen. They were focused on their job and they won the FA Youth Cup, which is an honour.”
