DBasia.news – Italy national team coach, Roberto Mancini, put his trust on young players to fill his squad. He thinks Italy national team need that right now.
Mancini thinks he has been considering the decision well. The former Inter Milan coach believes the youngsters are the starting point of Italy national team’s confidence after the failure to participate the 2018 World Cup.
With young and experienced players, Mancini continued, Italy national team will have a bright future.
“In the first few games we had to give young players a chance to play important games like the one in Portugal, even to make mistakes,” Mancini said.
“If you never play it’s difficult for a youngster. Our objective is the European Championships, so you need to think that in two years these young lads will have more games under their belts,” Mancini added.
