Marcus Rashford prefers vacation than football

DBasia.news – Former West Ham United player, Gabriel Agbonlahor, opened up regarding the appearance of Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford. He felt, Rashford is someone who prefers vacation rather than playing football.
Marcus Rashford has had a tough season. The 24-year-old striker lost his position on the Manchester United front line. The arrival of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo is considered to be one of the causes.
So far this season, Rashford has only scored four goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. The playing time of the Red Devils academy dropout has also only reached 936 minutes.
Gabriel Agbonlahor assessed that the decline in performance was also caused by the role played by Rashford. He felt, Rashford has not been optimal when playing from the left side.
“I don’t understand because Rashford is like someone who doesn’t like football. Rashford is like a player who is still in action, but doesn’t want to play football,” Agbonlahor said as reported by talkSPORT.
“I think Agbonlahor is unsuitable to play on the right wing. He should appear as a center forward or left. I prefer when he pierces from the left.”
“Rashford would appear extraordinary if he gets the opportunity as a left wing. However, this season the player seems reluctant to play football,” said Agbonlahor.
In addition to the unsuitable playing position, Rashford’s decline in performance was also inseparable from mental factors. Agbonlahor feels Rashford would prefer to take a two-month vacation instead of playing football.
“If he gets a chance to clear his head for two months, I think he will. At the moment, he seems reluctant to play football.”
According to reports circulating in England, Marcus Rashford is starting to think about leaving Manchester United at the end of the season. Reportedly, Paris Saint-Germain are ready to accommodate Rashford as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe who is getting closer to leaving.
