Marcus Rashford’s Impression on Being Trained by Erik ten Hag
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Marcus Rashford is interested in Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United.
Rashford has been underwhelming throughout last season. His quality as the spearhead of Manchester United’s mainstay in the last few seasons is barely visible.
Rashford was only able to score five goals in 31 games in all competitions last season. The amount is much lower than the collection of 21 goals in the previous season.
Rashford’s behavior is also often criticized. He is considered reluctant to appear on the field.
But Rashford is ready to open a new chapter with Ten Hag. He really enjoyed the pre-season training session under the leadership of the former Ajax Amsterdam coach.
“It’s just about getting the principles right about how Erik (ten Hag) wants us to play and the details and enjoy it. In the first week of training we’ve done both and everyone is looking forward to the pre-season tour,” Rashford told the club’s official website.
“It’s a fresh start for everyone. For me personally, I had a good rest, good personal training before returning to training, and how we started off on the right foot.”
Rashford recognizes the importance of the imminent pre-season. This moment is a momentum for all players to steal Ten Hag’s heart.
Rashford is determined to regain his place in the first-team squad. This will definitely paved the way for competing in the 2022 World Cup with the England national team.
“Everyone is looking forward to pre-season now and trying to get involved in the games we have learned in training so far. What we will continue to learn, not only in pre-season but throughout the season.”
