Mason Greenwood Wants to Live a Career like Wayne Rooney

DBasia.news – Wayne Rooney is the figure most idolized by Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood. He also claimed to want to follow in the footsteps of careers like Rooney with Manchester United.
Rooney is a figure that United is a mainstay from 2004 to 2017. In fact, he also became the club’s all-time top scorer with 253 goals.
“Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo from Brazil always stand out to me. I always look at them. Rooney is a great goalscorer, that’s what I want,” Greenwood said at Soccerway.

Greenwood also claimed to learn a lot from his senior, Marcus Rashford. The last name is the mainstay of the Red Devils on the front lines today.
“I have many role models around me and Marcus Rashford is one of them. I just want to follow in his footsteps. He is a goalscorer, he shoots with both feet. Solskjaer is also a great goalscorer in United. And also a great manager in my eyes,” Greenwood added.
