Mason Mount refuse to leave Chelsea just yet

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Mason Mount opens up about his future with Chelsea. He insists that he still wants to be fully committed to the Blues.

Mount is one of the most qualified English midfielders at the moment. His level is on par with Jack Grealish.

With only two years remaining on his contract, Mount has the opportunity to leave Chelsea. It is possible that he broke Grealish’s transfer record, signed by Manchester City for 100 million pounds.

But Mount rejected the possibility. Money is not the main priority right now.

“I’ve always been a Chelsea boy. I’m very happy here,” Mount told Tatler Magazine.

“We’ve won a few trophies, which is my big goal here. I always want to win things.”

Mount is a product of the Chelsea academy. He has studied there since he was six years old.

Mount was able to penetrate the Chelsea first team when he was 18 years old. He then transformed into one of the key players when Frank Lampard was manager.

Mount’s performance had declined at the start of the 2022-2023 season. But the arrival of Graham Potter who replaced Thomas Tuchel in the managerial position was slowly able to return it to its original level.

Mount has now recorded 2 goals and 5 assists in 14 games in all competitions this season. He is also almost certain to enter the England squad for the 2022 World Cup next month.
