Massimiliano Allegri is disappointed that Juventus often wastes opportunities against Malmo

DBasia.news – Massimiliano Allegri was not completely satisfied with the 1-0 win over Malmo, as Juventus could still have scored more goals, had the players not wasted chances.
Moise Kean’s header, which took advantage of Federico Bernardeschi’s pass, was the only difference between the two teams at the Allianz Stadium on Thursday (9/12) morning, WIB.
That goal was the reason for Juventus’ success in winning Group H, apart from Chelsea’s failure to beat Zenit elsewhere, but Massimiliano Allegri regretted the lack of goals that were created, as many opportunities were wasted.
“It was a beautiful night for the final result, but we missed too many scoring opportunities. We can’t think about going far if we keep wasting chances like this,” Allegri told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have to be sharper, more determined when we are in front of goal. This is definitely something we need to improve on.”
Allegri rotated many of his players in the starting line-up, with Manuel Locatelli, Matthijs de Ligt, Juan Cuadrado and Alvaro Morata starting on the bench.
Mattia Perin made his first Champions League game, while 19-year-old defender, Koni De Winter made his senior team debut, and the allenatore was pleased with what he saw.
“I wanted to see how everyone played and they all gave a great response. Arthur, Rodrigo Bentancur, Daniele Rugani, Mattia Perin and Koni De Winter played with character.”
