Mata Returns to Spain’s National Team As Enrique Be the Coach

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Luis Enrique appointed to be the new Spain’s national team coach. This news brings good luck to some players, especially those left out in Julen Lopetegui leadership, like Cesc Fabregas, Alvaro Morata, and Juan Mata.

Fabregas and Mata are two players who play in Spain during 2010 World Cup and 2012 Euro Cup. The return of Enrique opens the door for them returning to the squad.

Mata, who just entered Spain’s squad once during Lopetegui era in November 2016, stated his expectation. Rest assured, the former Valencia and Chelsea player wants to bring back La Furia Roja as the champion.

“I will do everything in my power to return to the national team. I hope the new coach will count on me because I’m going to do everything possible to go back. I would love to help Spain become champions again,” Mata told ESPN.

Before thinking too far about strengthening Spain’s squad, Mata has to prove his quality along with Manchester United this season. At least, the 30 years midfielder has to be consistent under Jose Mourinho’s leadership.

Furthermore, according to Mata, Enrique is the right person to coach Spain, considering his success with Barcelona. Enrique, 48, was the coach of Barcelona in 2014-2017 and successfully achieved treble winners in 2015: La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Champions League.

“He (Enrique) fits the profile because he has played for the national team and because of his coaching career,” Mata concluded.
