PSG vs Red Star

DBasia.news – The match between Paris Saint-Germain against Red Star Belgrade at Parc des Princes, October 3rd, was reported by French newspaper involving the score manipulation. As we know, in that match, Neymar and friends won with a 6-1 score.

According to L’Equipe report, PNF was told by UEFA about the probability of scandal between both teams one day before the match.

A credible informant told L’Equipe that one of Red Star directors put the 5 million euro bet to win with 5 goals margin. It’s also rumored that the director gained tens of millions euro by now.

To ensure that the match went as scheduled, some Red Star players were involved. PNF witnessed that PSG won with 5 goals margin. But it’s believed that there’s no proof for PNF to ensure the match between PSG Vs Red Star was manipulated.

The honorary Red Star president Dragan Dzajic denied the report from L’Equipe. “This is the first that I have heard of it,” Dzajic said.

The allegation of match-fixing also involved PSG. L’Equipe was formerly planned to meet both team leaders but canceled. UEFA hasn’t given any comment.

But just like Red Star, PSG also denied the match-fixing. “It was with the greatest stupefaction that Paris Saint-Germain discovered this article on the L’Équipe website regarding suspicions of match-fixing concerning the Champions League game with Red Star Belgrade,” PSG wrote.

“At no time has a member of the club been asked to discuss any matters other than those strictly related to the organization of the match, namely meetings, visits and other standard lunchtime protocol in the build-up to Champions League matches,” the statement continued.
