Mauricio Pochettino’s Response After Being Sacked by PSG

DBasia.news – Paris Saint-German has dismissed Mauricio Pochettino from his post as coach. And here’s his response via social media.
PSG officially announced their farewell to Pochettino on Tuesday (5/7) local time. Les Parisiens have also appointed Christophe Galtier as his successor.
Pochettino’s dismissal has actually been known some time ago. Failure to win the Champions League trophy is considered the main reason.
PSG’s success in securing the 2021-2022 Ligue 1 title was considered not enough to make up for it. Pochettino remains ousted after 18 months.
Despite having to experience dismissal, Pochettino did not show his disappointment. He still wishes the best for PSG.
“I want to wish everyone the best for the future at PSG, the owners, the board, the players, all the staff and supporters,” Pochettino wrote on Instagram.
“To Nasser (Al-Khelaifi, Club President), I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of the PSG family again. We enjoyed some great moments and big wins together.”
This is not the first time Pochettino has served for PSG. During his time as a player, he played for the French capital club for 2.5 seasons from 2001 to 2003.
As a closing message, Pochettino also boasted of the Ligue 1 trophy he had successfully presented. PSG’s dominance in the French league had stopped last season.
“We are proud to finish as league champions at a club that means a lot to me and my family, from my time here as a player and captain, and now as a coach.”
