DBasia.news –  The problem of sharpness on the front lines is still a problem for Chelsea this season. Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri also criticized the lack of sharpness on the front lines of his team.

The front line has been a problem for Chelsea since the start of the season. Alvaro Morata who was plotted as the spearhead failed to show the best game. In fact, Sarri had to put Eden Hazard as an attacker to score.

In the 2019 winter transfer market, Chelsea tried to solve the problem by bringing Gonzalo Higuain from AC Milan. However, according to Sarri the front row of the Blues was still sluggish.

“First of all, we want to be more consistent in terms of defense. We conceded less than before. At the moment, the most important thing is to appear more solid,” Sarri explained on the club’s official website.

“We are more consistent with results, but not on team performance, especially in the attacking phase. Sometimes, we play very good quality when attacking, sometimes not. Now, we have to start in attacking with the same ideas in every game.”

Chelsea have had a hard time breaking into the opponent’s goal. For example, as when facing Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City. Although, in the last match Jorginho and his friends won a big victory over Dynamo Kiev 5-0.

“Right now, we can’t do that. Sebeb, sometimes we fail to move without the ball. We don’t attack well inside the penalty box and don’t press the space behind the opponent’s defensive line. We must be more consistent in that,” Sarri said.

Chelsea’s Front line will face a tough test when they travel to Everton headquarters in the 2018-2019 Premier League advanced match, at Goodison Park on Sunday (17/3). The last two duels between Everton and Chelsea in the Premier League always end with a glass score.
