Maurizio Sarri Insists on Implementing Sarriball Philosophy at Chelsea

DBasia.news –  Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri, remains adamant on the football philosophy that he tried to implement even though many supporters have criticized him.

But Sarri did not judge the philosophy of his game as a source of Chelsea’s minor performance this season.

“We tried it but it was not easy, especially in the first season. As we just started work in mid-July. In early August we played the first official match. Then we worked a few weeks later and started playing for three days.”

Yes, Sarri believes Chelsea’s inconsistent performance is more due to the lack of preparatory period for yesterday, not because of the game system that was implemented.

“Will I change the philosophy? No, because I have to believe in what I do. Otherwise, it is impossible to convey my ideas to the players,” Sarri stressed.
