Maurizio Sarri Is Waiting for Chelsea’s Response Against Watford

DBasia.news – Chelsea surprisingly got defeated against Leicester City last weekend at Stamford Bridge during the 18th-week of Premier League by the only goal from Jamie Vardy.

Now, Eden Hazard and friends are targeting three points at Vicarage Road, home of Watford in the Boxing Day match on Thursday (27/12).

Once upset and disappointed of the failure against The Foxes, the manager Maurizio Sarri insisted that he wants the players to cut out the mistake in that match.

“We will prepare a video for the individual mistakes. I want to speak with the group first of all and then I want to speak with three, four, five players. I don’t know how many at the moment,” Sarri said cited by Sky Sports.

“The match is difficult. We know we have to study this kind of opponent very well (but) I think that now the most important thing is our reaction after the (Leicester) match,” the former Empoli manager added.

Despite Chelsea are statistically dominant to tackle the host, they must anticipate and never underestimate the contender. Apparently, Watford often give a surprise. Even in last season, The Blues got defeated 1-4.

Concluding, Sarri also insisted that he is waiting to see the squad reaction after the failure against Leicester.

“In the match, our reaction was not in the right way and now we have to think about our reaction after the match, just in order to prepare in the right way,” the former banker concluded.
