DBasia.news –  Chelsea won three points when hosting Watford in the 37th Premier League continued at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (5/5) night Western Indonesian Time.

In the match which ended in a landslide 3-0 score, the Blues’ three goals were created in the second half through Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the 48th minute, David Luiz then doubled the lead in the 51st minute, Gonzalo Higuain perfected the three points through his goal in the 75th minute.

Unfortunately, despite winning and also rising to third place while at the same time ascertained again competing in the 2019/20 Champions League season, Chelsea must again lose one of the best players due to injury. N’golo Kante was allegedly hit by a hamstring injury and then replaced by Loftus-Cheek in the 10th minute.

After the match, Maurizio Sarri as the team manager finally opened his voice about Kante’s injury, the Italian man admitted that he was sorry for not resting the player as well as giving a signal if Kante had a chance to end the season sooner.

“I do not know (when N’golo Kante will recover from injury). We have to wait for further checks that will be carried out by the medical team. Maybe all things related to Kante’s injury can only be known on Monday,” Sarri said as quoted by the Evening Standard.

“But it seems it will be difficult to recover the injury so that Kante can return to appear in the next two matches. On the other hand, Chelsea still have the desire to appear in the Europa League final. We will try to make him recover and get fit if Chelsea qualify for the top party,” he added.

N’golo Kante is the third Chelsea player to experience an injury towards the end of the season, before Callum Hudson-Odoi and Antonio Rudiger have been confirmed to end the season sooner.
