Maurizio Sarri says the Criticism towards Juventus is Exaggerated

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Juventus appeared quite disappointing in the Coppa Italia, which made them receive a lot of criticism. However, Maurizio Sarri was satisfied with the response when Juventus won the match against Bologna.

Juventus won 2-0 when they traveled to Bologna headquarters in the continued Italian League. In the match at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, Tuesday (06/23/2020) AM local time, Juventus’ goals were created by Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.

This became the first victory won by Juventus after the competition in Italy resumed. In the two previous matches in the Coppa Italia against AC Milan and Napoli, the Bianconeri drew without scoring.

“Today we are physically better, we maintained the tempo and intensity for 70 minutes. While in the Coppa we decreased after 20-30 minutes,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.

The unsatisfactory results in the Coppa Italia has made Juventus and Sarri the target of criticism. Rumors had also surfaced that there was a split between Sarri and the Juventus squad.

However, Sarri did not want to think of it excessively. According to him, the criticism towards Juventus was too exaggerated.

“In football and life, there are opinions and there are facts. If you listen to opinions, you will think this team is a mess. If you look at the facts, we are at the top of the standings,” Sarri stated.

“The criticism is excessive and it can be a motivator for us to restore our mental, especially physical, which may take longer,” he added.
