Mbappe scored a hat-trick after extending his contract

Di Maria made his 295th and last appearance for PSG in all competitions. The Argentinean scored a total of 92 goals and contributed 112 assists.

Mbappe is the first player to finish as top scorer (28 goals) and top assist (17) in Ligue 1 since the two awards were awarded by the LFP (2007/08).

PSG is the champion in the 2021/22 Ligue 1 title, as well as reclaiming the trophy which in the previous season fell into the hands of Lille.

This season, Mauricio Pochettino’s team have collected 86 points from 38 matches, 15 points ahead of Marseille who finished as runners-up.

On the other hand, Lille, who had thwarted PSG’s hegemony, had to finish in tenth place after they lost many important players in the summer.
