DBasia.news – UFC fighter Conor McGregor believes Manchester United need more than an Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a team formation maker.
Solskjaer is under serious pressure at Manchester United, following the Red Devils’ humiliating 0-5 defeat against Liverpool on Sunday (24/10) in the Premier League.
The Norwegian manager is still in charge of the club and could remain in the locker room for the game against Tottenham Hotspur, but many want him replaced and McGregor has expressed his support.
The Irish fighter, who is known to be a Manchester United fan, does not want Solskjaer to be fired. According to McGregor there are other ways to resurrect United without having to fire him.
“The thing at United is just a bunch of lads talking to each other,” McGregor wrote on Twitter.
“You need someone who can take over. Ole was on the bench when (Cristiano) Ronaldo played. It’s not enough. Love and respect Ole to the fullest but his role needs to be reorganized. That’s my opinion,” he said.
When fans commented on the tweet, McGregor went on to clarify his views.
“Don’t shout Ole out all the time, it’s shameful,” he wrote in response to one fan. “Ole forever United! His role just needs to be adjusted.”
There are others who shared on McGregor’s opinion of Manchester United, with many believing that Solskjaer has a role to play at Old Trafford. The problem is he may not fix the problem in the locker room.
