McTominay Looks Great, MU Legend Gives Praise and Criticism

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Manchester United legend Roy Keane was impressed and furious at the same time by Scott McTominay. This cannot be separated from what the 24-year-old midfielder showed in the match against Leeds United.

In a match that took place at Old Trafford on Sunday (20/12), McTominay was stunning by scoring two goals in the first three minutes. He played an important role in helping Manchester United win 6-2.

What McTominay has shown is certainly extraordinary given his position as a defensive midfielder. he also scored one assist for Daniel James’s goal.

McTominay’s brilliant performance was witnessed by Roy Keane, who served as an observer at Sky Sports. The former Manchester United captain did not hesitate to give praise.

“A perfect performance from McTominay. I really like it, he’s more mature,” said Keane.

“I even like the new haircut. I think that’s what makes it sharper.”

But Roy Keane was angered by the same figure not long after. He couldn’t stop thinking about what McTominay said during an interview session after the match.

McTominay admitted that Manchester United players currently don’t think about their position in the standings and only focus on the match. According to Keane, it was not appropriate.

“What McTominay said is unbelievable. Everyone has to look at the standings, players and staff,” he added.

“You have to and that is why you are playing. You want to know where it is and what the target is.”

The victory over Leeds made Manchester United move up to third. They are now only five points adrift of one game savings.
