Mesut Ozil Lasts at Arsenal Until 2021

DBasia.news –  Doctor Erkut Sogut, Mesut Ozil’s agent, confirmed that his client would stay until his contract expires in 2021.

Rumors of departure emerged after his journey this season was passed with inconsistencies in playing, injured, until Ozil was rarely played by Unai Emery. The situation improved during the end of the season as 30-year-old player was frequently played by Emery.

Ozil is believed to have survived Sogut with the club he has defended from 2013 until 2021. His focus is currently not on other clubs, but to try to mobilize all his abilities when being played by Emery.

“Rumors will always be there – there’s no need to doubt, but one thing I can guarantee is loyalty to Mesut. His mind is focused on Arsenal and only Arsenal. Arsenal is in Mesut’s blood and values his contract,” Sogut stressed on Sky Sports.

“He will stay at Arsenal until – at least – 2021 and fans don’t need to worry about the rumors coming out this summer. He has found a place where he feels welcomed and believes he can still contribute a lot,” he explained.

Ozil still has the chance to add to his trophy score with Arsenal this season. The winner of three FA Cup titles and one Community Shield can present the Europa League title, if he is able to deliver his team to victory in the final against Chelsea (30/5).
