Mikel Arteta Denies Arsenal Approaching John Stones

DBasia.news –  Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, admitted that John Stones is an appealing player. However, he has no intention of approaching the Manchester City defender.

Arsenal reportedly intends to bring in a new defender at the transfer window this January. The rumor is not separated from the severe injuries suffered by Calum Chambers and the future of Shkodran Mustafi that has been questionablt.

John Stones was later said to have entered Arsenal’s radar. Arteta had worked with the England international defender during his time as assistant manager at Manchester City.

But Arteta has denied rumors linking Arsenal with the Stones. Although admiring Stones, Arteta said there was no intention to bring in the former Everton player.
