Mikel Arteta gives Aaron Ramsey a Second Chance at Arsenal
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, reportedly wants to bring home Aaron Ramsey. Arteta intends to give a second chance to the midfielder who is currently defending Juventus.
Juventus got Aaron Ramsey for free in the 2019 summer transfer market. La Vecchia Signora took advantage of the new contract negotiations between Ramsey and Arsenal which were deadlocked. At that time, Juve considered doing a brilliant move.
Unfortunately, the Wales national team player has difficulty showing the best game in Italy. So far, the midfielder has made 65 appearances with six assists plus six goals.
This appearance made Juventus put Ramsey in the selling basket. Understandably, releasing Ramsey is the same as saving quite a bit in terms of salary expenses.
Apparently, Ramsey has not lost fans. The Mirror reports, Arsenal are willing to accommodate the former Cardiff City player.
Arsenal’s interest is based on the desire of Mikel Arteta. The manager needs a new midfielder to expand his options in midfield. Moreover, Arsenal are rumored to be losing Granit Xhaka to AS Roma.
Juventus reportedly priced Ramsey at 8.5 million pounds. It is believed that this value will not be a problem for Arsenal. However, Ramsey will need to cut his salary if he wants to return to the Emirates Stadium.
Apart from Ramsey, Arsenal are also reportedly working on signing Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. However, Sheffield is believed to not be selling Ramsdale cheaply.
