Mikel Arteta Warns Arsenal Players about Liverpool

Despite explaining this theory, Arteta is realistic about Arsenal and Liverpool’s level of play According to the Spanish manager, Liverpool’s level of play is different because it has a winning character that is formed from the culture brought by Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff.

“I don’t see a game dropping (from Liverpool). They go anywhere, even when they are 2-0 up, 3-0 up, 4-0 up, and they still play the same way,” added Arteta.

“There is not a single player who plays half-way on a match day, who is not very interested or only plays for moments in the game. They just do it, every minute of every game. All season doing that for 10 months, that’s a compliment which is very big in my opinion.”

“It’s a different level. They have done it in the Premier League and Champions League too. And that’s why they raise the bar so high. Not only them, Manchester City too in the last few years.
