By news-admin
DBasia.news – Serbian 23-year-old midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic became the real soap opera in the summer transfer market. After performing in the 2018 World Cup with Serbian national team, there are at least three clubs interested on him: Manchester United, Juventus, and Real Madrid.
But until now, there’s no real offering for Milinkovic-Savic because Lazio won’t let him go. The Simone Inzaghi team still need Milinkovic-Savic service after the performance last season in Champions League, defeated by Inter Milan.
The summer transfer market in Europe ended on August 31 except in England. So, the chance is still open about the alumnus Vojvodina academy transfer. According to the recent news from Calciomercato (4/8), AC Milan join the hunting of Milinkovic-Savic.
Since the change of ownership from Tiongkok company to Elliott Management and outsmart the UEFA sanction regarding Financial Fair Play regulation, Milan who appointed Leonardo as the sporting director got two Juventus players, Gonzalo Higuain and Mattia Caldara.
His presence completed Milan’s new recruitment after Ivan Strinic, Pepe Reina, and Alen Halilovic. Moreover, Leonardo is also approaching the possibility to get Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio with an interesting strategy.
The strategy is to loan Milinkovic-Savic worth 40 million euro (or 20 million euro plus Giacomo Bonaventura) and complete the rest 80 million euro payment within a year. This strategy will be useful for Milan in outsmarting FPP regulation, just like how they did it from Higuain’s transfer.
If it happens, Milan will be stronger since the arrival of Milinkovic-Savic and Higuain. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo in Juventus and Inter Mian’s huge transfer in this summer, the Serie A rivalry will be exciting.
