Milan begins to learn to win in different ways
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan is reportedly starting to develop a reputation as a team that knows how to win whether they play well or badly.
The Rossoneri were far from their usual flowing form in the 1-0 win over Torino at the San Siro, but Calciomercato highlighted how Stefano Pioli’s team were able to take one big chance they had during the 90 minutes of the game and showed the humility needed to hold on to the result by courage and determination.
Il Diavolo has made everyone accustomed to watching games with high intensity, creating lots of chances and scoring lots of goals, but the win over Torino in the 10th Serie A giornata came with minimal effort and it was their sixth win in a row.
Last season, out of 53 games in total, including in the Europa League and Coppa Italia, 1-0 wins came only on the road against Sparta Prague.
Defensively, the Serie A giants began to form a different mentality, one of which was that Pioli’s team could win without playing their best performance.
However, this season Milan has been different, although previously fans were worried after Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, who are pillars of the club, chose to leave.
Now, Davide Calabria and his team mates have managed to sit at the top of the Serie A standings, at least until Napoli compete, and are unbeaten this season.
