Milan Sporting Director Denies Gennaro Gattuso Firing Issue

According to the news, Milan are moving to find the successor of the Italian coach. Moreover, Leonardo’s name is also considered.

Some Italian media reported the match against Genoa on Thursday will be the judgment day for Gattuso. If he fails to achieve the points, he might be fired from his position.

“Gattuso? The rumors about him come from sources outside of our environment, and they are considered unfounded. This is why we did not consider it necessary to deny them because Rino knows that he has the full support of the club and management,” Leonardo said quoted by Calciomercato.

One of the highlights to Gattuso is the formation. He was experimenting to use two strikers against Betis, but it didn’t work out.
