Mohamed Elneny Might Leave Arsenal

Mohamed Elneny
DBasia.news – Last December was the unbeaten record for Arsenal in 22 matches of all competitions. Throughout the season, Arsenal under Unai Emery had a great season.
However, Emery’s revolution also cost a lot. One of the victims is the Egyptian midfielder, Mohamed Elneny. The 26-year-old player just played in 8 matches of all competitions, 5 of them in the Europa League.
Elneny who previously played 32 times, must steps aside since Emery chooses Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi as the prominent players.
The situation makes Serie A giant AS Roma make their move. Tutto Mercato reported they would sign the former FC Basel player. Even though his contract is still until 2022, but Roma Sporting Director Monchi believes Roma could sign him affordably considering his declining contribution.
AS Roma also face the problem in the midfield, with their two midfielders, Steven Nzonzi and Danielle De Rossi still absent. There are only Lorenzo Pellegrini and Bryan Cristante with no option.
