DBasia.news – Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah, revealed the important role Jurgen Klopp played behind his brilliant performance against Everton. Klopp told Salah what his opponent would do.
Mohamed Salah was the star of Liverpool’s victory against Everton. The Egyptian national team striker scored two of the Reds’ four goals. The final score was 4-1 for the visitors.
With the addition of two goals, Salah has now scored 13 goals in the Premier League. If you add his record in the Champions League, the former Fiorentina has already packed 19 goals from 19 matches.
“Hopefully I can score again. My goal is to win something with a club like the Premier League and the Champions League. Hopefully we can achieve both,” said Mohamed Salah as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Everton will not just give up. Moreover, this is a Merseyside Derby match.
“The message from Jurgen Klopp is that Everton will play strongly and rely physically on every ball we have. We have to keep playing our tactics and try to create chances. That’s what we did,” added Salah.
“The game was tough when it was 2-1. But when it was 3-1, things got much better.”
Thanks to that victory, Liverpool kept their distance from Chelsea who were at the top of the standings. Currently, Virgil van Dijk and his friends are only two points behind the Blues.
