Muscle Injury, Milan Will Not Be Strengthened Messias in Three Games
By db-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan will reportedly be without Junior Messias in the next few games due to the summer signing having a muscle problem.
Messias recently managed to overcome early problems that saw him land at the Rossoneri not yet 100% fit. However, in the end the loanee from Crotone made his debut in a 3-2 win over Atalanta in the seventh Serie A giornata before the international break.
However, Calciomercato and MilanNews are some of the sources who claim that the 30-year-old forward will be sidelined again due to a new muscle strain. He has undergone clinical and instrumental examinations, but the player believes the injury is not serious.
However, the Brazilian is in danger of missing the next three matches, namely against Hellas Verona and Bologna in the continuation of the Serie A giornata and the Champions League duel against FC Porto which will take place between the two matches.
An MRI scan carried out earlier this week showed an injury to the lectus femoris muscle in his left thigh. Further checks are planned to be carried out in the next 10 days so he will miss the three aforementioned matches.
The hope is that the injury is not serious and Messias can return to defend Milan and repay the trust of the club that has brought him even though accompanied by skepticism from a number of parties.
