Nabil Fekir Admits There’s No Offer from Chelsea

DBasia.news – Despite deciding to stay with Olympique Lyonnais, Nabil Fekir’s future is still uncertain. The Europe clubs are still watching one of the talented players from French.

As we know, last summer 2018 he was the main target of Liverpool. But, The Reds withdrew their intention after observing Fekir’s injury record. One of Premier League giants, Chelsea, also had the chance to sign him. But, the club high-official canceled the plan.

“They haven’t called me, but they can be watching my situation without calling me,” Fekir said cited by Express.

“Discussions are ongoing. I have sat down with the president, things are advancing slowly. When will I take a decision? I am not fixing myself a date, I am not in a rush,” he added.

If Fekir really joins Chelsea, he would reunite with his two teammates in France national team, Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante. He would be the second player signed by Roman Abramovich club after securing Christian Pulisic in advance.

But, if he fails to be part of Maurizio Sarri squad, he shouldn’t worry. Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in him.
