DBasia.news – Brasil under Tite leadership often rotate the captain. But ahead of the mach against the US, the coach announced that he will end the captain rotation.

To replace it, he appointed Paris Saint-Germain player Neymar as the permanent captain. He welcomed enthusiastically Tite’s decision. He believed the captain team position would make him more responsible to the national team’s achievement.

But certainly, Tite’s decision gained pro and cons. In one side, considering Neymar’s talent, he deserves to be the team captain. But on the other hand, this player often presents drama on the pitch.

Neymar just passed a difficult period with the national team during the 2018 World Cup. Not only the fact that Brasil got defeated by Belgium in the quarter-final, he often overreacts responding to the opponent’s foul.

Speaking to the media beside Tite after announced as the team captain, Neymar told his story. “I accepted again because I’ve learned a lot and I will learn much more. And this responsibility will be a good thing to me,” Neymar said.

Responding to the critic of his drama, Neymar responded: “I don’t have much to say about it. I’m a player who takes the ball 11 times and in 10 times I go straight to the opponent.”

“I think they won’t let me pass without giving me a little strike. I can’t ask them, ‘Hey, excuse me but let me score’. I suffered lots of fouls during the World Cup. But it happened,” Neymar revealed.
