DBasia.news – Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric won the 2018 Ballon d’Or defeating Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the ceremony at Grand Palais, Paris, Tuesday (4/12).
Modric was chosen by journalists worldwide, followed by Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe, Messi, and Mohamed Salah.
Neymar’s name wasn’t listed in the top-10 of 2018 Ballon d’Or despite he was previously listed in the big-30. He also didn’t attend the ceremonial event led by DJ Solveig and David Ginola.
With Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar was another big name who didn’t attend the event. Messi was having a family time, Ronaldo seemed to stay in Turin, and Neymar couldn’t attend due to a different reason.
It’s not family or training with PSG. Just like the teenagers, Neymar played the latest online game by Activision “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4” instead.
In @BRGaming video post, it’s seen that Neymar played it and chatted with his friends. The Brasilian star was busy playing the game instead of thinking about the Ballon d’Or.
There’s nothing wrong with what Neymar did. Moreover, netizen assumed it as an entertaining part.
What Neymar did represents the current world. The X and Y Generation played the online games like “Fortnite”, “PUBG”, or “Overwatch”. Moreover, they could also play the online android game “Mobile Legend”.
