Neymar Expresses his Similarity with the late Kobe Bryant

DBasia.news –  The death of former basketball athlete, Kobe Bryant, seems still to be unacceptable to Paris Saint-Germain star player, Neymar. Neymar recently revealed that he has the same lifestyle with the Los Angeles (LA) Lakers legend.

Kobe Bryant died at the age of 41 in January in Calabasas, California, in a helicopter crash that also killed his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna.

It was a sad news for the sporting world and all forms of condolences has come flooding in, including Neymar. The player wore a special jersey and made gestures to remember Kobe Bryant.

Neymar and Kobe met a few years ago after Kobe expressed his passion for football and his favorite teams, AC Milan and Barcelona. Neymar admitted Kobe’s death has affected him.

“His death (Kobe) really affected me because our lives had a lot in common,” Neymar said as quoted by Goal.

“I met Kobe in person and when he came to Paris. When you meet people behind athletes, it creates a different relationship and with Kobe, it was very special. Sports and society has lost a great person.”

Kobe Bryant left a great legacy that will be timeless in the NBA. Kobe has won the NBA five times and is the youngest basketball player to win 30,000 points in his career, he spent his lifetime at the LA Lakers from 1996 to 2016.
