Neymar indicates wanting to Play with Messi again

After scoring two goals and helping PSG win 3-1 over Manchester United in the Champions League, Neymar shared his desire to reunite with Messi. Neymar wants to play with Messi next season (2021-2022).

“What I want the most is to enjoy playing with him (with Lionel Messi) again,” Neymar told ESPN after the match at Old Trafford. “He (Messi) can play in my role, no problem with me! For sure next season we have to do it.”

Neymar’s statement raised questions and sparked conversation surrounding transfer rumors. Neymar is able to leave for Barcelona, Lionel Messi has the opportunity to head to PSG, or both of them would reunite at other clubs.

The win against United also kept PSG’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League. Thomas Tuchel’s Les Parisiens are at the top of Group H with nine points from five points, the same as MU and RB Leipzig.
