Neymar’s Advice for Barcelona New Midfielder

DBasia.news – New Barcelona midfielder, Arthur, admitted that he did a consultation with Neymar before deciding to move. According to Arthur, Neymar promoted Blaugrana.

Barcelona recruited Arthur from Gremio in July 9, 2018. Blaugrana got the Brasilian player with 31 million euro (Rp521 billion).

Arthur replaced Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta’s position. However, he didn’t feel under pressure.

Apparently, Arthur’s decision to join Barcelona was due to Neymar’s support. The former striker of Blaugrana mentioned great things about the club.

“I spoke with Neymar and he said wonderful things about the city,” Arthur said to Mundo Deportivo.

“That the way of life is spectacular… it was really only good words, and he thought that I would like to be here.”

Arthur is having six-season contract with Barcelona. The 21-year-old midfielder signed the contract that will end in June 30, 2024.
