Nguyen Quang Hai joins French club

DBasia.news – Nguyen Quang Hai, the star of the Vietnam national team, finally ended the speculation regarding his future by migrating to Europe.

Ligue 2 club, or the French second caste, Pau FC has officially obtained the services of the 25-year-old petite and lively winger.

This agreement was announced by Pau through their official website, Wednesday (29/6).

Nguyen Quang Hai joined the French second division club after signing a two-year contract.

“Vietnam’s international attacking midfielder with 45 caps joins Pau FC for the next two seasons,” Pau wrote. “He will use the number 19 jersey.”

Quang Hai started his professional career with Vietnamese club Hanoi FC since 2014 and has made 127 appearances in V League 1 and scored a total of 31 goals. He was loaned to Saigon FC for a year in 2015.

Nguyen Quang Hai made his debut with the Vietnam senior national team in 2017 after becoming a mainstay in various age group teams.

His best achievement in the international arena is successfully leading Vietnam to win the 2018 AFF Cup, as well as helping his country reach the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup.

Individually, the player who is good at executing free kicks with his left foot scored a total of 10 goals in 45 appearances for the Vietnam senior national team and became MVP of the 2018 AFF Cup.
