Not Satisfied with Getting Messi, PSG Are Looking for Stade Rennes Players
By db-admin
DBasia.news – PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) are still ambitious in the summer transfer market despite having Lionel Messi. Mauricio Pochettino’s Les Parisiens are now targeting players who defend rival teams Stade Rennes.
The player in question is 18-year-old midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga. According to Marca, negotiations between PSG and Rennes have progressed significantly in the last few hours. PSG want to secure the services of players who are targeted by many European clubs.
Camavinga not only has quality to play but can also be a long-term investment at that age. Camavinga’s contract expires in the summer of 2022 and the player reportedly does not want to sign a new contract.
Rennes had no other choice but to sell it. If previously they insisted on releasing Camavinga at a price of 100 million euros, now the price has dropped dramatically to 35 million euros. It was presented by Fabrizio Romano.
“There is a chance for Eduardo Camavinga to leave Rennes in the last days of the transfer market. He will not sign a new long-term contract with Rennes, so they are open to selling him for 35 million euros. Competition is open,” said Romano.
If you succeed in recruiting Camavinga, the PSG squad will be deeper and also studded with star players. Previously they completed the transfers of Achraf Hakimi, Danilo Pereira, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum and Lionel Messi.
Their arrival further completes an already strong squad with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Marco Verratti, Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Marquinhos.
