Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Doesn’t Want to Discuss Pogba

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did not want to discuss Paul Pogba, who was confirmed absent against Chelsea later in the English League Cup, at Stamford Bridge Stadium on Thursday (10/31) early morning Western Indonesian Time. Solskjaer also stressed that he already pocketed several names of players who will replace Pogba.

Manchester United will face a tough test from Chelsea. Although winning 4-0 at the start of the season, but not a guarantee the Red Devils will smile again when returning home.

Currently, Chelsea is in a promising performance after winning seven consecutive wins. Meanwhile, Manchester United began to rise after winning two wins in the last two matches.

Manchester United also can not appear in full force after Paul Pogba has not recovered from injury. The French national team player is expected to be sidelined for the next few weeks.

“There is no point in talking about a player who will not appear for a very long time. He does not come to the field and help us to recover,” Solskjaer said as Sportsmole reported.

“Paul Pogba played very well and he was the creative midfielder we needed. But, then, everything depends on others to be able to replace him,” explained the manager.

Given the squad available, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can play Fred in the position left by Pogba. Also, Andreas Pereira can play an anchor midfielder.

“Fred will probably fill Paul Pogba’s position for some time. That is very important for us. However, Andreas Pereira has developed in the last few games. Pereira is a different player, but he can also appear in a central position.”

In addition to Paul Pogba, Manchester United also could not lose several other players such as Nemanja Matic, Diogo Dalot, and Luke Shaw. Not surprisingly, Solskjaer needs to rack his brain to determine the composition of players.
