DBasia.news – Manchester United are now managed by their former player and legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. As the manager, Solskjaer is prone to critic if the performance is declining even from the former teammates.
Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, and Ryan Giggs often gave comment about the performances of England clubs, including Man United.
Solskjaer knows about that. During his 11-year period defending Man United from 1996 until 2007, Solskjaer played with them who are currently the football pundit. The Norway manager is open to any critics.
“Don’t worry, Gary will be really hard on me. I’ve sat next to him in a dressing room for 11 years. He was next to me and… you know Gary! He’s paid now to give his opinion and, of course, he should do,” Solskjaer told Manchester Evening News.
“I’m no different to anyone else, no different to any other manager when you lead that team out on to the pitch. It comes with a responsibility. But I don’t play for them. My job is to get the players enjoying themselves.”
One of Man United former captains, Wayne Rooney, also sent his best regards for Solskjaer. Rooney and his colleague sent the suggestion for him and perhaps criticizing him.
“The lads, my ex-teammates, I’ve had texts from all of them wishing me all the best. They’ve given good advice, sound advice, all of them. He (Rooney)’ll probably criticize me as well, don’t worry about that!” Solskjaer laughed.
