Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Praises Axel Tuanzebe

DBasia.news –  Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, praised the performance of the 21-year-old young defender, Axel Tuanzebe. Solskjaer could not wait to see the development of Tuanzebe.

Tuanzebe appeared when the Red Devils won 2-0 against Perth Glory in a trial match. Solskjaer was satisfied with his appearance and gave praise to Tuanzebe. He believes Tuanzebe can compete in United’s main squad for the 2019/20 season.

According to Solskjaer, Tuanzebe made good use of his loan period at Aston Villa in the 2018/19 season. The England U-21 national team defender helped the promotion team into the Premier League and can still continue to develop in the future.

“Axel has a big chance to stay here and play. He had a good season last season, even though at the beginning of the season he was injured, but he really proved that he was able to play at this level (high),” Solskjaer said on the club’s official website.

“He promoted with Aston Villa and returned in a very strong and focused condition. He performed well in the first match here in Perth (against Perth Glory), so he is one of the exciting young players and I can’t wait to see him again.”

Including Tuanzebe, Solskjaer has six players who play as central defenders. The manager opens competition in the area.

“Anyone who performs well will be part of the team. Anyone who does not perform well must fight to come back (enter the main squad and play regularly),” Solskjaer said.
