Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s support of Marcus Rashford

DBasia.news –  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s “super-sub” player at the time with Manchester United thinks Marcus Rashford is ready and able to appear in a counter match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Manchester United will face Wolves at Old Trafford in the FA Cup third-round replay match on Thursday (01/16/2020) morning. This duel must be repeated because both teams drew 1-1 in the match which took place at Molineux Stadium.

MU had doubts would be strengthened by Rashford in this fight. Because he was reportedly injured and had to be pulled out by Solskjaer in the 59th minute when Manchester United won 4-0 over Norwich City last weekend.

He was replaced by Daniel James in the 22nd week of the English League match. Rashford himself performed neatly against the Canaries by scoring two goals.

Concerns about Rashford’s condition are now slightly eased. It happened after Solskjaer revealed that the England national team striker was in good condition to appear against Wolves.

The Norwegian manager explained his decision to replace Rashford in the match against Norwich solely for the sake of maintaining the fitness of this Manchester native player. Solskjaer did not want to over-power Rashford to continue playing.

Rashford’s role is irreplaceable at Manchester United with only three absences this season. He appeared sharp by packing 19 goals in 30 matches in all competitions.

“Yes, he is fine. Marcus is a young player who I do not want to force him to continue playing for my own benefit,” Solskjaer was quoted as saying on the official MU website.

“You do not want to fatigue him. But he is very energetic and professional, he wants to go back to playing again,” he explained about Rashford’s condition.
