Olivier Giroud Certain Laurent Koscielny is Disappointed with his Situation at Arsenal

DBasia.news –  The situation of Laurent Koscielny at Arsenal has received the attention of his compatriot, Olivier Giroud, the former Arsenal striker said Koscielny was also very sad with his situation at Arsenal.

As is known, Koscielny was absent from Arsenal’s training session and did not join the squad on the preseason tour. That was very surprising considering his status as a senior player and team captain. The 33-year-old defender was rumored to leave this summer.

Added by Giroud, Koscielny is a professional figure and has never acted out, and never disrespected the club he has strengthened from 2010. Giroud believes Koscielny is also dissapointed about the current situation.

“Lolo is my best friend, I have known him for 10-11 years. We have played together in the second division (in France with Tours),” Giroud added.

“He has been playing for Arsenal for nine years; he has been a skipper for years – very respectful, very professional, always an example for young players.”

“The club gave him the chance to play for Arsenal, and it was a great opportunity to show his quality in the Premier League. I think he will always be grateful for that and respect for the club.”

“I do not understand how such a situation can occur. I feel very sorry for him because he is a great person and the media wants to give a bad image about him.”

“I am not at the club, I don’t really know what has happened – but one thing is certain is Lolo is very hurt by what is happening and he is an emotional person,” concluded Giroud.

Koscielny is believed to be disappointed with the offer of a new contract from Arsenal. Allegedly, the club will regulate when Koscielny will play and also the vision and mission of the club that are not in line with him.
